One cup of strawberries contains over 100 mg of vitamin C, almost as much as a cup of orange juice. We need vitamin C for immune system function and for strong connective tissue. Strawberries also add a bit of calcium, magnesium, folate and potassium and only 53 calories.
One cup of blueberries offers a smaller amount of vitamin C, minerals and phytochemicals for only 83 calories.

jlwpxoxo asked: First: congratulations on your pregnancy!! Second: I'm probably going to be LIVING off of your blog for awhile - I'm on a wedding crunch now (10 months 'til THE day) and I refuse to get married fat. lol Basically, my pant size matches my age as I go... I'm trying to get back to what I was 6 years ago. Thanks for the inspiration <3

Awe well I am glad that you like the page and Congrats on your upcoming wedding :) Just please be sure to do it in a healthy way instead of fasting and such. Those kinds of weight loss plans will only leave you cranky and stressed out as your big day approaches.

My suggestion would be to use little rewards as an incentive. Because you are planning such a big event pamper yourself every 10 pounds or so. Maybe a pedicure for the first 10, a massage for the second. If you tell the hubby how much it means to you maybe he will even offer to pitch in on some rewards. *A big tip, NEVER reward yourself with food. It’s okay to have a little cheat snack or a cheat meal every once in a while if you are working out as well, but telling yourself if you lose 5 pounds then its okay to eat a huge calorific (because we all know those foods are amazing) meal will only encourage you to binge.

Good luck and feel free to keep in touch with any questions and I think I speak for my followers by saying if you feel comfortable we would love a before and after picture of you on your big day :)

Happy Holidays and Stay Healthy!
