Operation: Lose the Baby Weight

Part One 6/2/12

I was finally cleared by my doctor to workout yesterday, woo hoo! For those of you who are wondering, I had a beautiful baby girl (Isla Sophia Horvath) May 2nd. A complication of the pregnancy was severe high blood pressure and as a result, I was put on bed rest for three weeks before I was induced to deliver at 37 weeks. I was told to keep physical activity to a minimum during my post-delivery recovery period. Yesterday I was cleared and I can now begin to workout :)

I will be posting meals, pictures, and workouts as often as possible. My goal is to lose 20lb by August 10th (when I am going to my husbands army graduation) and an additional 30lb by Christmas. Ultimately though, I will be judging my progress by how I look and feel. Wish me Luck! It feels good to be back!
